Mike Burley of BV Consultants provides business advice and consultancy for pre-start and small, established businesses in areas such as market research, company sale and acquisition, and business
planning to support funding applications and general business problems. Examples of hands-on support include assisting with cash flow and P&L forecasts for a variety of businesses, contacting
prospective partners for a new business venture and market research, sales promotions and obtaining free coverage in local newspapers.
Start-up business advice
Mike has been delivering 1:2:1 advice and mentoring to those considering self employment for over 10 years, on behalf of organisations such as Business Link, Enterprise Agencies and Job Centres. Support
projects have been undertaken in Portsmouth , Havant and Southampton and across Hampshire. A SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) endorsed business adviser and Business Link broker, Mike
has been self employed himself for many years. He previously ran several businesses in the electronics, engineering and construction sectors.
Business start-up and small business workshops
Mike has developed and delivered a suite of proven business start up workshops – from half day to 3 day – covering all areas of business start up, business planning and running a small
business. Over 200 workshops delivered by Mike since 2000. These training workshops can be tailored to the needs and make-up of your client group.
